After verifying that the system you will be installing Lab 50 software on meets the requirements outlined in the Hardware Requirements section of the manual, you may install Lab 50. You should begin by downloading the latest version of the software from the Lucidiom website and saving it to the desktop of your machine.
To complete the installation, please do the following:
- Double-click on the .exe file to begin installation of the software.
- If a warning appears prompting you to verify that you want to open the file, click Run to continue.
- Select the Language to use for your installation of Lab 50, then click OK.
- Once the Introduction Screen Appears, click Next to continue.

5. Please read the Licensing Agreement, select the option I accept the agreement, and then click Next.

6. Select the installation path to use for installation of Lab 50, (the default location is C:\Program Files\Lucidiom Lab 50 7.0), then click on the Next button.

7. Select which icons you would like the software to create for you, or if you don’t want it to create any icons on the
Desktop or in the Quick Launch bar, select the Next button.
8. Confirm the Destination Location is the path you would like to use for the software installation, and then
select Install.
9. Once the software has finished installing, you will be prompted to restart your machine. You should restart the machine before proceeding to use Lab 50, but you may select to restart later if you have additional components downloading during installation such as Back Lab Burner. Click Finish to complete the installation.
