Adding a Promotion or Coupon


Click on the Promotions & Coupons option in the Primary Navigation Pane. This screen is used to configure automatic promotions and coupon codes that customers can apply to their order. Once these are setup, the option to apply them appears at the end of an order.

**Note: These promotions and coupons are unrelated to those you may have setup in Lab 50.

Coupon Code Setup:

  1. Click the Enable Coupon Codes checkbox.
  2. Click on the Add button
  3. On the Promotion Details screen, select whether you are configuring an Automatic Promotion or Coupon Code, enter a description, and enter the start and end dates of the promotion. **The code is limited to 10 numbers.
  4. In the Criteria section, enter the requirements for the coupon. These can be based upon an order total or product quantity.
  5. In the Promotion section, select the type of promotion and the product for which it will apply. Options include a percentage discount, dollar amount discount, or free product. You may also indicate whether this offer applies to an order more than once by checking the box that the offer is Repeatable (Buy-X-Get-Y).
  6. When you are finished, press Return.
  7. Repeat these steps for adding additional codes, editing or deleting codes.
