September 2014 - Apple iOS 8.0 Update
We have a temporary fix for iOS (Cable) Connect on the APM for users that have updated their devices to iOS 8.
For now it is cumbersome, we will have more elegant one later.
- Install iTunes on the APM.
- Open Task Manager, click on Startup, Disable iTunes Helper
- Reboot Machine
- Close Kiosk if it automatically opens.
- Connect an iPhone with iOS8 to the machine with Apple Cable.
- You should see a windows that says installing new driver.
- Start Kiosk.
This has worked on 8 test machines this morning (9/19/14), so give it a shot if you are nervous about not having a solution for iOS 8 customers.
