The photos load slower because the software uploads all the photos before taking you to the ordering screen while on memory cards it takes you to the ordering screen then loads the photos.

March 2014 - Apple iOS 7.1 Update

The recent trouble connecting to iPhones is a result of an update released by Apple (iOS 7.1) that is currently not working with Windows XP.  As this is between Apple and Microsoft there isn’t much we can do aside from wait for Apple to sort things out with a possible patch.

Since Microsoft have now stopped supporting Windows XP (April 8th 2014) this could delay the demand for a bug fix (or prevent a fix from going out at all).

That said, we have received word of a fix involving a third party tool (we have tested and it does appear to work).  We do not support the third party tool and I am only bringing it up in case you would like to apply it to your kiosks at your own risk. The software is called CopyTransDriversInstaller.exe and can be found at CNET.  Simply install on the kiosk and it should correct the iPhone issue.
