- Cheap cords do not work well. Spend the extra and get a real cord from Apple. Or get a $19 cord from Radioshack- they now sell a $1 warranty for the cord.
- Make sure the phone does not have a lock code. If it does, the phone must be unlocked before connecting
- Have the phone on the main screen, do not open the photos app
- Make sure to have the cord connected directly to the PC, some USB hubs, especially unpowered ones may interfere with the setup.
To Connect:
- Click the screen on kiosk to get started
- Make sure the phone is unlocked and at main screen
- Plug in usb into kiosk
- Plug into phone
- Listen for the usb chime
- Listen for the iphone chime
- If the Operating system on the device is on iOS 7 or later, you will be prompted on your phone to trust the comptuercomputer. Press Trust on the device when prompted.
