Tips & Tricks from the Field (Thank you Joel Miller!)
- cheap cords do not work well. Spend the extra and get a real cord from Apple. Or get a $19 cord from Radioshack- they now sell a $1 warranty for the cord.
- make sure the phone does not have a lock code. If it does, the phone must be unlocked before connecting
- have the phone on the main screen, do not open the photos app
To Connect:
- Click the screen on kiosk to get started
- Make sure the phone is unlocked and at main screen
- Plug in usb into kiosk
- Plug into phone
- Listen for the usb chime
- Listen for the iphone chime
The photos load slower because the software uploads all the photos before taking you to the ordering screen while on memory cards it takes you to the ordering screen then loads the photos.
