Please find attached to this email a document that will assist you in starting the ghosting process on your machine.

Before starting this process, make sure to back-up your configuration files. The files are located in the C:\APM folder, and they are as follows: apmconfig_receipt.xml, apmlang_custom.xml, apmconfig_apm.xml, apmconfig_printstation.xml, apmconfig_products_custom.xml (if present in your installation), and devices.def.

You will also need to write down the computer name and workgroup/domain, so you can give the machine the same information after the ghosting process. This information can be found by accessing the Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel > System and clicking on the Computer Name tab. You'll want to write down the information listed after Full computer name as well as the Workgroup or Domain.

Once you are ready, follow the attached documentation to reghost the machine. After that is complete, drop the files you copied into the C:\APM directory. You will then need to change the computer name (which will be APM-XXXXX) and workgroup/domain to match the settings you wrote down before ghosting. You can do this by once again accessing Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel > System and clicking on the Computer Name tab and then click the Change button.

Once you have made the necessary changes, click OK, and then Apply and OK again, and you'll be prompted to restart the machine. Once the machine has restarted, place a test order to confirm your connections are in place and configuration settings are set to your customized settings.
