EasyLink Mobile Upload is the simplest way to get photos off a phone and into the kiosk or website for ordering. Users don’t need to download an app, enter a code, or plug in a cable.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Users scan a QR code or enter their phone number to receive a text message* link that will take them to the EasyLink Mobile Upload site.
  2. They select the photos to transfer and click Upload.
  3. The photos are sent from the phone right into their account and are ready for ordering within seconds.

*SMS features require a subscription to the User Enhancements (for web) and Kiosk+ (for kiosk; coming soon) bundles.

FAQ:

  1. How do you scan a QR on Android: On Android, go to your camera app and long-press the screen, which will launch Google Lens (added in Android 9) which automatically reads the bar code and shows the URL to the upload. Click on that and it will take you to the upload page. Also just leaving the camera focused on the QR code for a while will show the URL, allowing a click to navigate there. If nothing happens, you may have to go to your Settings app and enable QR Code scanning.
  2. How do I get EasyLink on my website? It's already there! When users click the Upload Photos button, they now see a new screen asking them if the photos are on their computer or on a mobile device. Upon selecting Mobile Device, they are offered a QR code to scan. If you have the User Enhancements Bundle, they will also see an option to enter a mobile number to get a text link to click. They then choose photos to upload and are done.
  3. What is the User Enhancements Bundle? Please visit this page for details or to place your order. https://www.photofinale.com/bundles
  4. When will the EasyLink Mobile Upload be added to PF@Kiosk? By default, the "Hide Upload Button" option is enabled for PF@Kiosk. If the dealer turns that off and has the User Enhancement Bundle, the EasyLink screen will be available & works within PF@Kiosk. The downside is that the "Upload from Computer" button is still offered and that opens a Windows File Select dialog which gives consumers access to the operating system—just depends on if the dealer is ok with this or not…may be fine for smaller guys. The new Kiosk will handle it differently—but with PF@Kiosk currently, that’s how it is.
