Hardware Requirements:
- Pentium 4 or higher processor
- Windows XP Professional SP3 or Windows 7
- Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 with all applicable service packs installed.*
- MSXML 6.0 installed*
- Microsoft Silverlight installed (for viewing Photo Finale Web 6.0)
- 1 GB of RAM (2GB of RAM if using Back Lab Burner for Media processing)
- 100 GB or larger Hard Drive
- Printer installed as the default driver on the PC for printing invoices
- A user account with Administrative privileges on the system
- Active internet connection to the system
- Must be networked to your printer prior to installation
All components must be installed and functioning properly prior to installation, as Lucidiom, Inc. assumes no responsibility for the hardware if purchased from a third-party.
**Note: These items can be downloaded for free from the Windows/Microsoft update site at: http://update.microsoft.com.
Be sure to choose the custom option when prompted, and check the options off that are available, as they will vary from machine to machine.
Network Requirements:
The APM and Lab 50 software packages do not require internet access to function properly for simple processing of kiosk orders through to the printer, however, it is recommended the machines are online for activation and support purposes.
If the store will be processing orders from Photo Finale Web or from a kiosk placed in a remote location, internet access must be available at all times on the Lab 50 machine to ensure order receipt and processing in a timely fashion. Additionally, if the customer wants to take advantage of the APM Profit Watcher site to access statistical data or use EQ Gifting to process orders that are fulfilled through a remote fulfillment center, the unit must be online.
The ports and IP addresses used by the various software components are listed below for reference. If the unit is on a domain or behind a firewall, exceptions may need to be made in the configuration in order for these applications to work properly.

65.246.16.205 – www.photofinale.com (HTTP, HTTPS)
This is the consumer photo sharing website for customers to upload, share and order products from their photos.
65.246.16.206 – webservices.photofinale.com (HTTP, HTTPS)
This is the location of the web services that Lab 50 interacts with to communicate with the server.
65.246.16.205 – update.photofinale.com (HTTP, HTTPS)
This is the location that Lab 50 accesses to check for and download any updates to the application software.
65.246.16.208 – storage.photofinale.com (HTTP, HTTPS)
This is the location where Lab 50 accesses photos uploaded by customers for sharing, web album creation, and ordering prints and other products.
