Setup Wizard Printer Configuration Screen

Sending orders straight from the kiosk (Print Server):

  1. Press the bottom, left corner of the intro screen.
  2. Enter the pass code (default is 1234).
  3. Select the Setup Wizard.

Using Lab 50 installed on a separate computer:

  1. Click on the Settings tab in Lab 50.
  2. Select the Fulfillment option on the left side of the screen to expand it.
  3. Select Print Server.
  4. Press the Setup Wizard button, and the Setup Wizard will launch.

Once you have the Setup Wizard open:

  1. Click on Printer Configuration.
  2. Click on Add Printer.
  3. In the menu at the right, select DNP DS Printer.
  4. In the Printer Name field, enter "DNP", or any name you wish to use.
  5. Click the Add button.
  6. Click on the newly created DNP Printer option in the top, left corner to display the options for this interface.

DNP DS Printer Options:

  • Queue Delay (milleseconds): The default setting is 1500 seconds. This value should not be changed.
  • Maximum Retries: The default setting is 60. This value should not be changed.
  • Windows Printer Name: Select the Windows printer driver name desired from the drop-down menu. The list of available printers is populated with all printers available in Windows.
  • Print Size: Select the print size that will be processed on the printer. Available options include 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10.
  • Serial Number: This field is polled by the Setup Wizard and populated with the information reported by the printer software.
  • Firmware Version: This field is polled by the Setup Wizard and populated with the information reported by the printer software.
  • USB Port: This field is polled by the Setup Wizard and populated with the information reported by the Windows printer drivers.
  • Ribbon Size: This field is polled by the Setup Wizard and populated with the information reported by the Windows printer drivers.

If more than one printer is connected, repeat the above steps within the Printer Settings section for each additional printer. The DNP PS printer interface can accomodate up to four DNP printers attached to a single machine.
