NOTE: This documentation relates to an earlier version of the APM / Lab 50 software.

While the APM software does accept RAW files, it does not necessarily accept every single RAW file type.

This is because camera makes and models treat RAW files differently, and there is not a standardized RAW format.

However, most RAW files that are 12-Bits/channel should read in the kiosk. Some newer DSLR's use 14 and 16-Bits/channel RAW files which display but print with strong color casts, which you may be experiencing.

The only way to use these files is to convert them to 8-Bits/channel JPEG or 12-Bits/channel RAW before they can be read properly through the APM software. You can also disable RAW support entirely on the kiosk if you'd like through the SetupWizard.

To enable/disable RAW file support, go into the Setup Wizard > Kiosk Settings > Devices, and then check/uncheck the the box in the top right corner to Enable/Disable RAW files.
