Creating a new template:

In order to offer borders, custom greeting cards, or custom books, you would need to create a template to apply to your product. Information on creating custom web templates may be downloaded from the following:

Loading templates into Lab 50:

Once you have built the templates according to the documentation, they will needed to be loaded into Lab 50 and applied to your web product. To do so, please do the following:

  1. In Lab 50, access Store Management > Templates.
  2. Select the option to Import new templates, and you'll be prompted to select the location of your template xml file.
  3. Once the template has loaded successfully, double-click on it to review the template, import an updated version of the xml file, or change the preview photo displayed on the website.
  4. Save any changes made by selecting the option in the top, left corner.
To apply the template to an existing product:
  1. In Lab 50, access Store Management > Product Catalog.
  2. Next, locate the product you would like to apply the template to, and double-click on it to access the product properties.
  3. Click on the Styles tab, then press the Add button to once again be prompted for the location of your template xml.
  4. Once the template has loaded, the template will now be available for use with that product.
