Version 1.16 introduced two new service modes, both designed to speed up local ordering/printing by keep images local and only transferring the order data to the cloud (myLab).
Express Printing
- Images from orders placed at the kiosk send photos to your printers through PrintServer and the order data file goes up to the cloud (myLab). Images are not saved in the cloud and will not be viewable via myLab.
Direct Printing
- Images from orders placed at the kiosk send orders to Print 50 and the order data file goes up to the cloud (myLab) and down to your Print 50. Images are not saved in the cloud and will not be viewable via myLab.
Cloud Printing
- Images and order data go from the kiosk up to the cloud (myLab) and down to your Print 50 for production. Transmission time will depend on the size of the order and the upload/download speed at your location. You will be able to print the order as soon as the first image is fully downloaded.
