  1. Click on Add Product to highlight the line (the word Add Product will turn blue).
  2. Click on the small button labeled "…" that appears on the right-hand side. This will launch a dialog box giving you the properties for the new product.
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select the product to be added.
  4. Set the Print Channel to the matching print channel that is used on the Noritsu machine for this product.
  5. The Size Letter is a string that will be appended to the end of the order folder name. Normally, this can be anything you wish to set. However, keep in mind that if two different products use the same Size Letter, then order directories might get overwritten. (**Note:

    When you are configuring the product Size Letter, unique names should be used for each product. For clarity in processing orders, Lucidiom recommends the name relate to the product and finish, and

    start with a dash "-" for readability. Example: "-4x6G" is used for 4x6 Print Glossy product, and "-4x6FCG" is for 4x6 Flat Card Glossy.

    should have a unique size letter description to prevent products from overwriting one another during order conversion to the DPOF format.

  6. Enter the Print Size of the paper magazine that will be used for this product. Example: 4R is referred to as 4 inch paper.
  7. Set the Product Width and Product Height to the width and height of the product.
  8. Use the Finish dropdown to select either Glossy or Matte for the finish option. (**Note: Regardless of whether both glossy and matte channels are available for a particular size, it is necessary to add the size twice - once for glossy finish, and once for matte. If only one finish is available for a product, then the size must still be added twice, but can be assigned the same Print Channel number.)
  9. Set the DPI to 300, which is the default value.
  10. Hit OK to finish adding the product.
  11. Once you have added a product, you can click on the "+" to expand the options for review or further editing. Within the expanded options, you will also see a setting to Use channel for order directories. This setting will include the print channel information as part of the folder naming scheme for the data conversion. By default, this setting is set to false.
