The APM has several settings that determine when a prompt appears for the customer to confirm that they are still using the kiosk after a period of inactivity. These settings are located in the c:\APM\apmconfig_apm.xml file, which can be edited while the software is closed by using Notepad. *

When you open the file, you will want to look for a line that looks similar to this:

When changing the timeout, time_out_1 is generally the setting you will usually want to adjust one to change in most cases.
Finally, please keep in mind note that these settings are usually overwritten during a standard software update, depending on the version and build. If you have changed them, we suggest that after an update you come back in and set them to your desired settings.
