Comment: Added DNS entries

...

  1. Buy Domain: If you haven't already registered the domain you want to use, buy it.  Your custom domain name must be pre-approved by Photo Finale to verify that it is unique on our platform and that it follows our guidelines. You can buy this from a provider, such as GoDaddy. Domain names (or subdomain names of your main domain) must be unique across the platform and cannot utilize reserved terms (see list below).  We will provide the required Nameserver information which you will enter with your provider after you have purchased the domain name.

  2. DNS & SSL: We will take care of hosting the DNS and purchasing and keeping up-to-date the SSL certificate for your site. We charge a nominal yearly fee to cover the labor/setup. If you would like to manage your own DNS and/or SSL, we allow that also, although the labor/setup fee still applies.

To host your own DNS, please add these entries to your zone:

    NameTypeValueTTL
    @ (root/naked domain)A165.254.179.3421600
    wwwCNAMEcustomdomain.photofinale.com21600

  3. Facebook & Instagram: In order to allow customers to sign in with their Facebook credentials, or to order from Facebook or Instagram-connected accounts, we must set up these apps on a per-domain basis. As such, these are separate add-ons for which we change one-time fees. Please make sure your sales order contains these popular connections so we can build them as we prepare your site.

If you have any questions on this please feel free to contact support@photofinale.com.

Reserved Generic Names

Custom domain names may not use these reserved, generic terms as their domain or subdomain.  Plural and gerund forms of these terms are also reserved.

Photo Finale must pre-approve all domain names and reserves the right to disallow specific names for any reason.
