If you are tech-savvy and have time to do it yourself, here are the steps.
On the old machine
To move your kiosk license from one machine to another, you will need to do the following:
On the Old Machine:
- Quit the APM Software by accessing the admin screen, entering the admin code, then selecting Quit APM Software.
- Quit the APM Hardware Attendant. Start by finding the Hardware Attendant icon in the taskbar near the clock and double-clicking on it.
- When the Hardware Attendant opens, click on the Quit button in the bottom, right corner.
- Run the ActivationReset.exe utility found here: C:\APM_FOLDERS\Tools\ActivationReset.
- Shut down the kiosk.
On the New Machinenew machine:
- Reghost the machine to ensure proper functionality.
- After reghosting, you will be prompted for the APM ID and Activation Code. If you do not have your credentials, please contact support@photofinale.com.
